The Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS), is a people operating system that harnesses human energy through a simple set of tools and principles. EOS is used by more than 275,000 + companies around the world to clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision. EOS helps operators improve their business across 6 key components - Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process & Traction.
We run on EOS at the holding company level and across every portfolio company at Today. Implementing EOS is a requirement for all portfolio companies inside the Today portfolio. Implementing EOS takes approximately 6 months and happens over the course of 5-6 full day sessions. In between each session the company’s management team is tasked with various activities related to installing EOS in the company.
There are two ways to implement EOS: hiring an implementer or doing it yourself.
Each method for implementation has benefits and drawbacks. We leave it up to the operating company CEO to decide what is the best method for implementation in the company. For those who self-implement, this playbook is our own hosted version of the implementation workshops and resources online at https://www.eosworldwide.com/
Please note that we do not own and are not affiliated in any way with EOS - we simply implement the operating system inside of every company we own. Under this pretense this playbook should only be accessed by Today’s portfolio companies.
