How to deposit a check and record it in Service Titan

Step 1: Receive Payment via Check and Deposit into Quickbooks
- Receive a check from a customer
- Take note of:
- Who the check is from
- Check #
- Check amount
- Take a photo of the check and deposit it into Quickbooks or Fivestar via the mobile app
Step 2: Locate Customer in Service Titan
- Click on Calls in Service Titan
- Type the customer’s name in the search bar
- Select the customer’s address to select the customer record
Step 3: Find the Job & Invoice
- Review the jobs listed under the customer’s profile.
- Identify the correct job by matching the listed dollar amount on the jon to the amount received on the check
- Click on the job number for the correct job
- Click on the outstanding Invoice for the related job
Step 4: Apply the Payment to the Job & invoice
